Oh my weary head hurts some days when I think of some of the wild, the weird and the wonderful readings I have!

Karin Dalton-Smith - Tea with Karin

So here’s the goss, I get this gorgeous looking young lady come and sit with me for a reading. She was beautiful (but waaaay too much lip filler! made her look duck lips which she didn't need as a natural stunner!), truly gorgeous! I’m reading at a restaurant by the way, so to set the scene they park me in a dimly lit corner that was bloody freezing and I’m to read teacups flat chat for two hours (while shivering in the dark).

Anyway, this lovely lady says to me:

I think my mother-in-law has put a curse on me. My husband won’t give me any money and he says his mother calls me a b-i-t-c-h.

I’m sitting with raised eyebrows and thinking to self OMG, lucky me. So when I read teacups out in public like this I use tiny throw away teacups. (I hate washing up). I take one look in this lady’s cup and I hold it up to her and say, “honey, are you sure she calls you a b-i-t-c-h? Because check out this WITCH in your teacup. She’s on her broom high and flying in total control! Use these creative powers within you and stir the magic in as you need it. No one is going to mess with you.” So this lovely lady left my chair

Tea leaf reading isn’t for the faint hearted. It’s actually a very lady like/gentlemanly like way of snooping into the clients life. And, boy o’ boy you do come across some very complicated situations. I’ve seen the hidden hot lover from the husband and the sneaky wife squirrelling away money so no one knows her stash.

Reading teacups is looking into the window of the client you are reading for. It requires a huge amount of trust and discretion, as at the end of the day we are dealing with someones life, emotions and psychological wellbeing. Teacup reading looks simple - pffft, but its one of the most simple forms of divination and the rawest of what you see is what you get.

Nope, not for the faint hearted.

Join Karin on your Tea Leaf Reading journey today:

Learn the art of reading tea leaves which is an ancient divination system going back to the 15th Century in China. All you need to start is the right shape teacup and some loose leaf tea. Sssssh, you can even use a teabag if you must. The most important part is to have some fun and enjoy the tea.

Where there is tea, there is love ❤️...
